It started as an art project…

I started Project Mugs For Followers as a way to spark my creativity and connect with people on a platform that had started to feel a little inauthentic to me.

Over on Instagram, I’ve been choosing followers, making a mug inspired by their page, and naming it for them. It’s led to some really beautiful pieces and, more than anything, helped me find my artistic spark again. I’ve loved the process of making a mug that represents how I see someone.

Now, I’m opening it up.

You can now have your own custom You As A Mug.

I’ll look through your Instagram page, or you can email me photos instead, and I’ll create a mug that embodies how I perceive you. Everything is completely custom and intentional. From the size and shape, to how it feels in your hand, the decoration, glazes, and finishes.

My hope is that the mug will feel like you, and that you’ll feel the love and thoughtfulness every time you take a sip.
